Hello Smaxor;

Saw your posts on WF and then this blog was mentioned on SlightlyShady and thought I’d pay you a visit – very good stuff – I’ve been trying to figure out localization for a while now as I already have used Mailboxes, Etc., G’s maps, and a bit of PHP etc.. Just couldn’t make the connections to see how it all fits together. Alzheimer’s, I guess. Anyway, local is going to be huge. Bookmarked since I couldn’t find your RSS feed. Off to checkout Leadpile and make a bunch of subdomains now.

would the same work with subdomains.
ie. atlantacashadvance.paydayloans.com
instead of regetering each domain per city?

The other way to get a cheap postal address is to find some kid on yahoo groups or craiglist, and say you are doing a market survey for 200 US cities and need to send a test mail to a local address.

You could have your name as the recipient and in the address put
“c/o (kid’s name), address, address, state, city, zip”

and you could send them to a $250 target gift card, free xbox draw or other appropriate CPA offer as their payment.

Kill 3 birds with one stone.

Could this work with regular affiliate offers? Leadpoint and Leadpile do not have the offers I am looking for but my affilates do. They just don’t offer that type of “hidden” signups. What can I do?

Yeah there’s services that will let you rent banks of numbers. Would probably be easier then the UPS Store route. When I wrote this article I’d never signed up for a local listing
